Lunchboxes coming home looking remarkably similar to when they left? They ate that before and now it's just in a different section untouched? Sam doesn't like that so now I don't want to eat it either.

Well here's something to help!

This is a categorised list of all the "lunchbox-y" type foods I could think of, and there's even space to add your own ideas!

Every term, I sit down with my kids for 5 minutes and go through this list (I use a different coloured pen for each of them!) The list is divided into categories so you can see what they're currently into.  

This tells me what they're currently eating and holds them accountable (hey - you said you'd eat it!) which reduces waste, let's me know what to buy for when they pack their own; and helps keep track of those seemingly ever-changing tastes!

I like the motivation it gives me to organise myself on a weekend for the week ahead.
I've spent so much time stressing / being annoyed that no one else in my house can make any suggestions or sort what we're having for dinner and it's all on me.
So now we all have the conversations on the weekend about what we are going to have during the week for dinners. Then hubby can start prepping stuff when he's home from work first.
And the kids actually look forward to eating the dinners they've suggested - rather than me telling them what they're having and they don't want it.
